DIRECTIONS to the Church of Saint Matthew, 120 Church Avenue, Forestville, CT

  1. Take Interstate 84 to Exit 33 (Bristol-Plainville, Route 72 West).
  2. Stay on Route 72 West to the traffic light at the end of the divided highway. Turn RIGHT at the traffic light.
  3. As you continue you’ll go through one traffic light. You’ll see O’Brien’s Funeral Home on your left. At the center of Forestville the road makes a quick bend to the right to a traffic light. At the traffic light you will see a Cumberland Farms just ahead.
  4. Go straight over the small bridge and railroad tracks and take a quick LEFT onto Church Avenue. At this point the Cumberland Farms will be on your right.
  5. Along Church Avenue you will see the Fire Station on your left and Asbury Methodist Church on your right. Just past Asbury Methodist’s parking lot, you’ll see the entrance to our parking lot, also on the right.

Our Lady of Calvary Retreat Center
Bristol Retreat Weekend 

 Fri., March 2, 7:00pm - Sun., March 4, 12:30pm

This year’s Retreat theme, “Rest - Rediscover - Be Renewed,” invites us to reflect on ways we can slow down, quiet ourselves, ponder and listen.  As we renew our body, mind and spirit, we commit ourselves “to act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.”  Now is the time to send in  your $50 deposit to reserve your room.  The full cost is $200 - $215, according to your means.  Financial assistance is available, if needed.

 For those who like to arrive early on Friday night, OLC is offering a light soup and supper between 5:30pm and 6:30pm for an additional $5.00.

 If  you can get away for just one day, try the “Commuter Saturday Retreat”  Sat., March 3, from 8:00am - 9:00pm.  The all-inclusive day is priced at $100.
